Notebooks rely on finite energy resources, namely the batteries. With this in
mind, any additional client processes introduced to enhance disconnected
operation should not be too demanding on the system. The main questions are how
far is there between power supplies and how much work will be done when
traveling from one to the other? Further investigation on this subject is beyond
the scope of this report. I will leave that question to the users and the
applications.
